CHISINAU, February 14, 2012 — The sportsmen of the Central Sports Club of the Army (CSCA) won eight medals at the Shooting Championship held February 10-12, in Balti.

The head of CSCA, Victor Belevici, stated three members of the club — Ecaterina Raileanu and Vladislav Bejenari - won the weapons contest and Ivan Aric — the cadet rifle contest.

Other three CSCA members won the shooting contests for seniors. Artiom Berezovschi was awarded the silver medal for the gun shooting test and Anastasia Juritcaia and Ivan Iliin have got the silver medal for the rifle contest.

According to Victor Belevici, two bronze medals were awarded to the CSCA sportsmen Alexandru Galusco and Constantin Oglinda at the gun and rifle shooting contests.

The Balti Shooting Championship brought together 40 sportsmen of the CSCA and DINAMO sports clubs, as well as Sports School No.1 from Balti. The CSCA headed by the sports master Svetlana Mocrieva represented the National Army at the event.

The CSCA club consists of: shooting sports clubs, car and bike racing clubs, biathlon, football, radiosport, air modeling, sea polyathlon and martial arts clubs. CSCA has the mission to develop the practice of different genre of military technical sports for youth, servicemen and high performance sportsmen.
