National Army Commander Attends Strategic Military Partner Conference
CHISINAU, June 19, 2012 — The Head of Main Staff, Commander of the National Army, Brigadier Gen. Vitalie Stoian, attends the Strategic Military Partner Conference conducted by the NATO Headquarters Supreme Allied Command Transformation June18 — 20 in Zagreb, Croatia.
This year, the event will focus on the topics discussed at the Chicago Summit. The parties will reflect on the Summit outcomes and decide on how best to innovate and transform the Alliance with the help of member and partner nations.
The Strategic Military Partner Conference that gathered the heads of Main Staff of the member states of Partnership for Peace, Mediterranean Dialogue (MD), Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI), is a yearly event providing an excellent opportunity for Chiefs of Defense of NATO and Partner nations to share their perspectives on important strategic issues of common interest.
