Young Students Complete Army Integration Course



Chisinau, August 17, 2012 — Young people admitted this year at Alexandru cel Bun Military Academy of the Armed Forces completed the army integration course held during July 30 — August 17, at Bulboaca Military Training Ground.

At the end of the course, they shoot the AKM gun at a distance of 100 meters. According to the interim commander of the training battalion of the Military Academy, Maj. Andrei Sram, the Ilie Ciobanu achieved the best result recording 37 point score. Most students were appreciated with the “very good” and “good” grades. Their performances prove that students have learned the theoretical part, thus being very good at the shooting exercise", Maj. Sram said.

While on the military training ground, the young people studied a range of military disciplines, including general tactics, shooting training, military regulations, square bashing, engineer training, medical military and social training. The military integration course aims at familiarizing students with the army life aspects and checking on how students get used to military environment from the moral and psychological point of view.

This year, 100 young people joined the Military Academy, including 9 girls. 50 students will learn infantry science, 25 — artillery and 25 — signal science. Upon completion of the military integration course, the young people went home. On September 1, they will come back tot he academy. The length of studies at the Military Academy is four years. Accommodation, food and military equipment are free for students.
