European Air Combat Championship Starts in Vadul-lui-VodaChisinau, August 17, 2012 — The Chief of Main Staff, Commander of the National Army, Brigadier Gen. Vitalie Stoian, attended the inauguration ceremony of the European Championship “Radio Control Combat” conducted by the Ministry of Defense during August The Commander of the National Army stated the championship organized for the first time in our country proves the National Army’s high interest for this discipline, as well as its commitment to all sports genres. The competition has brought together over 100 pilots from Austria, Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Moldova, Russia, Slovakia and Ukraine. All the pilots control identical copies, including the historic color of the cover, of aircrafts dating back to the two world wars. The initiative to hold such a Championship belongs to ACES International Air Combat Organization and its office in the Republic of Moldova. |
