Celebration with magicians for children of the military personnel



Chisinau, December 03rd , 2012 — the Minister of Defense, Vitalie Marinuţa, along with the representatives of military attaches accredited in the Republic of Moldova and military priests, attended the ceremony held today at the Cultural and Military History Center for disabled children of military families and civilian employees of the National Army.

“We are glad to be here today, with Christmas gifts for children of the National Army personnel who need our support. It is an important moment, and, as every year, on winter holidays eve, we all gather as a family and enjoy the simple pleasures offered heartily by people of good faith, ” the Minister said in his speech on this occasion. The Minister of Defense, Vitalie Marinuţa assured all those present of the continued support of the National Army leadership and wished them happy holidays.

The celebration continued with offering gifts to children and the presentation of a show performed by young singers, dancers and magicians.

The Military attaché of Ukraine in the Republic Modova, colonel Sergei Kosenco, attended the event and congratulated the children on the occasion of the first flakes and offered some financial support to families that bring up children with disabilities. Also, the military priest Corneliu Dobrogeanu came with gifts for those children on behalf of the church clergy.

Those approximately 35 disabled children of military personnel and civilian employees of the National Army received as gifts school supplies, candy, toys and food.
