The oath ceremonies brought together leaders of the Ministry of Defense and National Army Main Staff, local public authorities, veterans of the Armed Forces, as well as conscripts’ parents, relatives and friends.

Col. Vadim Cemirtan, Commander of Air Force Command, who attended the event in Balti, pointed out the value of military oath and importance of military service for every man. “The moment when you took your oath with dignity will always be in your memory. Neither will you forget the military service in the National Army, where you will learn to be responsible, disciplined, committed to patriotic values and overcome all hardships of life”, Col. Cemirtan said.

The official called young men to be devoted to their oath, fulfilling their military and social duties with honor. “So far, our homeland defenders showed high responsibility in combat readiness, daily service, peacekeepers’ contingent in the Security Zone, military exercises inside and outside the country, as well as weather relief operations”, Col. Cemirtan stated.

In Cahul, Col. Ion Dotenco, Commander of Land Force Command, congratulated young soldiers on the most important event in their military life and asked them to be devoted to their native land while in the military. “Study military life, be disciplined and never forget that your homeland entrusted you the noble mission of defender”, Col.
