Moldovan-American Cooperation in Personnel Management



CHISINAU, July 17, 2013 — About 20 National Army servicemembers attend, within July 15-19, a seminar on personnel management, conducted by a group of military experts of the US Armed Forces.

According to the Head of Personnel Division of National Army Main Staff, Col. Eduard Ohladciuc, the seminar focuses on the exchange of experience in the personnel management area, as well as the analysis of premises for the development of a personnel record software program, that will be used in the National Army. “This kind of activities raise the professional level of the Personnel Division staff and improve the automatic records system of the National Army”, Col. Ohladciuc said.

The program of the seminar consists of issues of military career management and professional development of servicemembers, the organization of the US mobilization system, social care of active-duty and their family members, as well as psychological and religious assistance of the National Army.

During the event, the American experts, along with the participants at the seminar, visited the Military Territorial Center of Soroca, to familiarize with the mobilization system in the National Army, including the records of reserves, responsibilities of public administration authorities, public institutions and enterprises in the mobilization area, management of Armed Forces reserve and reserve service.

The seminar is part of the Republic of Moldova — NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP).
