WO1 Svetlana Saenco Wins Fifth Place at Wrestling World Championship


Chisinau, September 23, 2013 — WO1 Svetlana Saenco won the fifth place at Wrestling World Championship, held in Budapest (Hungary).

According to the head of CSCA, Col. Andrei Catlabuga, WO1 Saenco, that competed at 72 kg, won two competitions. Then, she was defeated by Natalia Vorobiova from Russia and qualified for another competition. Saenco fought for the medal bronze, being defeated by Burmaa Ochirada (Mongolia).

Another sportsman of the National Army, Greco-Roman fighter Victor Ciobanu (55 kg) won the 10th place of 33 participants, after a victory and a defeat. Victor Ciobanu is the winner of this year World University Games.

This year, the Wrestling World Championship brought together about 50 countries.
