Defense Minister Vitalie Marinuta to Pay Official Visit to Bucharest

Chisinau, November 29, 2013 — Minister of Defense of the Republic of Moldova, Vitalie Marinuta, will pay an official visit to Romania, within December 1-2, at the invitation of his Romanian counterpart, Mircea Dusa.

According to the Head of the Defense Policy and Planning Directorate, Vlad Ababii, the Moldovan Defense Minister will attend a military parade and other events conducted by the Romanian authorities, on the Romanian National Day.

On December 2, after the military greeting ceremony,Vitalie Marinuta will meet the Minister of National Defense of Romania, Mircea Dusa, to discuss the bilateral relations between the two armies. Then, the officials will sign the Agreement on Safeguarding Classified Defense Information and the Cooperation Protocol on Military Education.

At the same time, in Bucharest, Minister Vitalie Marinuta will have bilateral meetings with the youth from Republic of Moldova that study in Romania.
