Ministry of Defense Makes Christmas Gifts



Chisinau, December 23, 2013 —Defense Minister, Vitalie Marinuta, visited today the High School for Children with Low Vision from Chisinau, where 106 pupils from all over the country

On the eve of winter holidays, Christmas and New Year, the Defense Minister brought sweets to children and wished everyone that the joy of Christmas brings them peace and light.

“On Christmas Eve, one of the brightest holidays of Christianity, it is a great pleasure to be with you. I wish you to study very well, be healthy and happy. May you have a better year and all your dreams come true”, Vitalie Marinuta said.

The primary school pupils from the High School for Children with Low Vision presented an artistic program with poems, carols and Christmas sketches.

The same day, Deputy Defense Minister, Ana Vasilachi, shared Christmas gifts at the boarding school for orphans and children without parental care from Carpineni, Hincesti.

Ana Vasilachi said that orphans’ social care is a duty of the state, and the Ministry of Defense is concerned about them and provides support, according to possibilities, to make these children’s life easier.

Tomorrow, December 24, the servicemembers of the Military Territorial Center of Cahul and Brigade “Dacia” will make gifts to children from Cahul Boarding School for Deaf Children.
