National Army Conscripts To Celebrate Winter Holidays at Home

Chisinau, December 24, 2013- One third of National Army conscripts will celebrate Christmas and New Year at home. Other 30 percent will be on leave, to celebrate Old Style Christmas.

According to Commander of Land Force Command, Col. Viorel Placinta, soldiers that had good discipline will have 7 days off. At the same time, during winter holidays, all the military units and institutions will conduct different activities, including carol contests, holiday design of the barracks and others.

Also, military priests will hold divine services for the soldiers of the National Army’s units, that will take care of the guard of military facilities.
