Issue crisis management, interview techniques and dealing with the media in international operations are the main topics presented by the Lithuanians instructors, experts in public affairs, including communication with media in theaters of operations, where Lithuania deployed military contingents. The agenda also comprises practical simulations, that will teach Moldovan officers effective communication skills.

According to Commander of the Land Forces Command, Col. Viorel Placinta, the communication area is a priority for the National Army leadership and for the entire military staff, as well as civil employees. “Moldovan citizens have the right to know what the defense state institution is busy with, parents have the right to know what their sons are doing in the army and how the Defense Ministry manages public money. Therefore, they need to learn to communicate and properly convey the information to the public”, Col. Placinta said.
