Public Service Day Marked at the Ministry of Defense

Chisinau, June 23, 2014 — Defense Minister, Valeriu Troenco, congratulated today the National Army public servants on the professional holiday.

Thus, Valeriu Troenco awarded a group of public administration representatives with Diplomas of Government, class I, II and III, for a successful implementation of state policies and activity within public authorities.

The Minister of Defense appreciated the public servants’ efforts in the development of the National Army and noted that the professionalism they demonstrate in their daily service contributes to building a positive image of the public servants’ job in the Republic of Moldova and assures the efficient activity of the Government institutions.

There are currently about 300 public servants in the National Army.

The Public Service Day was declared on April 6, 2014, through Government decision.
