Moldovan Soldiers’ Social Care Issue Discussed in Bucharest



Chisinau, July 9, 2014 — Deputy Defense Minister, Ana Vasilachi, makes a working visit to Romania, within July 7-10.

While in Romania, Ana Vasilachi familiarized with the accommodation and treatment facilities in the spaphysiotherapy and medical rehabilitation Sanatorium “Dr. Dimitrie Cantemir” in Baltatesti, Neamt district, the accommodation conditions in the Predeal Military Hostel and the activity of the Training, Representation and Transit Centre “Mountain”, Sinaia.

Ana Vasilachi will also meet the State Secretary for Parliament Liaison, Public Information and Personnel Welfare, Otilia Sava, and the representatives of the Real Estate and Infrastructure Directorate of the Ministry of National Defense of Romania, of the Sectoral Pension Fund, as well as the Personnel Welfare Directorate within the institution.

The discussions will focus on the social care of public servants and soldiers of the National Army and policies in this area, including the housing issue, salaries increase, the right to free medical care, as well as soldiers’ vacation organization and other issues related to the improvement of servicemembers’ social care.
