National Army Contingent to Take Part in Military Parade in Bucharest
Chisinau, November 28, 2014 — For the first time, a National Army contingent will participate in the military parade on the National Day of Romania, celebrated on December 1. Deputy Defense Minister, Aurel Fondos, will also attend the event that will take place on Constitutiei Square, in Bucharest.
The Moldovan contingent consists of 31 servicemembers of the Guard of Honor company and will be commanded by Cpt. Vasile Ojoga.
Today, the Moldovan servicemembers have had the first rehearsal along with contingents from France, Poland, Turkey and the U.S.A, on Ghencea training ground. On Saturday, they will participate at the final rehearsal, on Constitutiei Square, in Bucharest.
In 2014, the National Army took part in the military parade on the National Day of France.
