Military Psychologists and Chaplains Meet at the Ministry of Defense

Chisinau, December 23, 2014 — Defense Minister Valeriu Troenco attended today the opening ceremony of a workshop that brought together military psychologists and chaplains. The event was held at the Ministry of Defense.

Valeriu Troenco stated that military psychologists’ and chaplains’ efforts are very important for the development of the psychological-moral condition of the National Army staff, especially of conscripts for whom military service is a challenge. “I am convinced that military psychologists and priests, through joint efforts, can contribute to creating appropriate conditions for service in military units. I require much responsibility in your work and hope that today’s workshop will help you find solutions and share the experience you acquired in your daily activity”, the Defense Minister said.

The workshop “Spiritual supremacy of word in personality education and development” brings together about 100 chaplains, psychologists of the National Army and the Department of Penitentiary Institutions from Republic of Moldova.
