Valeriu Troenco Talks to Moldovan Service members from Kosovo (video)



Chisinau, December 30, 2014 — Defense Minister, Valeriu Troenco, got in touch today via Skype, with the National Army service members deployed to KFOR mission in Kosovo.

Valeriu Troenco thanked the officers and the NCOs of the second contingent from Kosovo for fulfilling their missions with honor and professionalism. “Your performance is appreciated by our partners. This proves that Republic of Moldova’s service members are capable and qualified to participate in multinational peacekeeping missions”, Valeriu Troenco said.

Defense Minister congratulated the whole staff on the coming winter holidays. Valeriu Troenco wished them happy holidays, health, achievements and fulfillment of all desires.

The same day, Defense Minister sent a congratulation message to the National Army service members, participating in UN and OSCE peacekeeping missions.

“These days, we think of you, appreciate your efforts to help the community where you are currently doing your duty, representing the National Army and Republic of Moldova with honor. On my behalf and on behalf of the National Army staff, I wish you all the best for the winter holidays. We look forward to see you back home with the message “Mission complete!”, the Minister of Defense said to the military observers.

Currently, 18 National Army servicemembers are participating in UN and OSCE missions and other 41 are in KFOR mission, Kosovo.
