Inspection in the Infantry Unit (video)

CHISINAU, February 26, 2015 — Minister of Defense, Viorel Cibotaru, and Chief of Main Staff, National Army Commander, Brigadier Gen. Igor Gorgan, inspected today “Stafan cel Mare” Brigade.

According to Brigade’s Commander, Col. Mihail Olaru, during the inspection, the National Army leadership checked the technical condition of unit BTR-80 armored personnel carriers, as well as infantry soldiers’ readiness to carry out missions established by commanders.

The Minister of Defense was satisfied with the way the military vehicles are used and maintained in “Stefan cel Mare” Brigade.

Viorel Cibotaru and Igor Gorgan appreciated the staff’s efforts to present the vehicles for inspection, as well as the management of the unit military vehicles and weapons maintenance process.

The event is part of the National Army Training Plan and aims to evaluate the staff capabilities and skills.

Also today, the Minister of Defense familiarized with “Stefan cel Mare” Brigade infrastructure, accommodation and training conditions of the military.
