American experience for National Army Medical Staff

Chisinau, March 24, 2015 — A group of National Army doctors and nurses attend, within March 16-27, the Moldovan-American seminar “Prehospital Medical Aid for Demining Teams”, held at Military Academy ,,Alexandru cel Bun".

LTC Doctor Sergiu Cirlan, Head of National Army Medical Service, said that the training is conducted by representatives of the medical service of North Carolina National Guard. The course is designed to share with the Moldovan medical staff the US practice of medical aid, as well as exchange experience.

LTC Doctor Sergiu Cirlan also said that the seminar brings together 20 health workers of National Army and consists of theoretical and practical classes, where participants are trained to provide medical aid in various situations.

Also, this week, nurses from the Central Military Hospital and the Outpatient Center are trained by a group of American specialists on how to provide medical aid in case of disaster.
