Moldovan-American Exercise at Bulboaca (Video)

Chisinau, March 26, 2015 — Over 120 National Army and US soldiers participated in the practical phase of the Moldovan-American exercise “Travel Contact Team 2015” (TCT), held at the Military Training Ground of the National Army. The event was also attended by Defense Minister Viorel Cibotaru and Chief of Main Staff, National Army Commander, Brigadier General Igor Gorgan.

According to LTC Sergiu Cirimpei, Commander of Special Operations Battalion ,,Fulger’’, the exercise brought together soldiers of Special Operations Battalion, “Stefan cel Mare” Brigade and the 22^nd Peacekeeping Battalion and was designed to raise interoperability between special forces and infantry units, as well as to build recon practical skills.

Sergiu Cirimpei also mentioned that the joint exercise ,,TCT-2015“consisted of theoretical and practical classes on night and day operational planning, recon mission, medical aid and weaponry presentation tasks.

The Moldovan-American exercise “Travel Contact Team 2015” took place within March 23 — 27, at the Training Base of the National Army.
