The National Army Honor Guard Marches in Constitution Square in BucharestCHISINAU, December 1, 2015 — A National Army contingent participated today in the Military Parade on the occasion of Romania’s National Day, held in Constitution Square from Bucharest, Romania. Minister of Defense of the Republic of Moldova, Anatol Salaru, also attended the event. The Moldovan platoon was led by cpt. Vasile Ojoga and consisted of 31 service members of the Honor Guard Company. The Moldovan soldiers marched together with troops from Romania, Bulgaria, Poland, the USA and Turkey. This year, the military parade held in Constitution Square from Bucharest was attended by 2,600 Romanian soldiers with 360 military vehicles from the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Romanian Intelligence Service, Protection and Guard Service, the Special Telecommunications Service, the National Penitentiary Administration and the Local Police Bucharest.
