Cadets Leave for Germany
CHISINAU, February 22, 2016 — A contingent of cadets of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces “Alexandru cel Bun” left for Germany in order to participate in “Mission Readiness Exercise” (MRE) conducted at the Military training center from Hohenfels.
According to the Commander of the contingent, Cpt. Andrei Adomnita, the 75 cadets, together with troops from Georgia and the USA, carry out missions of patrol in the responsibility zone, security at checkpoints, medical evacuation operations, and tactical exercises at platoon and company level.
The source specified that the National Army contingent is also training on driving vehicles during day and night time.
“Mission Readiness Exercise” is conducted within February 20 — March 4, 2016 and aims to train the units for international peacekeeping missions.
