National Security and Defense Postgraduate Course - Third Class
CHISINAU, April 22, 2016 — The Ministry of Defense hosted the graduation ceremony of the National Security and Defense Postgraduate Course. During the event, the Deputy Defense Minister Gheorghe Galbura handed the diplomas to the graduates.
Gheorghe Galbura congratulated the 22 representatives of governmental institutions, NGOs, and religious entities who studied the current problems of the national security system. The Deputy Defense Minister expressed his conviction that, after this course, the specialists will considerably improve the functioning of the institutions responsible for national security and defense.
According to Commander-rector of the Military Academy of Armed Forces “Alexandru cel Bun”, Col. Iurie Bruma, the National Security and Defense Postgraduate Course is at its third class and was held at the Center of Military History and Culture within January 18 — April 22, 2016.
The source specified that the training was based on the curriculum of the National Defense Colleges from Romania, UK, France, the USA, Canada, Poland, Germany, Italy, and Estonia.
The curriculum and teaching activities were conducted by experts from the Presidency, Government, central public authorities, Academy of Science, NGOs, Embassies, as well as from institutions of high military education from the PfP Consortium.
So far, 66 persons graduated from the National Security and Defense Postgraduate Course.
