Minister of Defense – Official Visit to Ukraine

CHISINAU, August 23, 2016 — Minister of Defense, Anatol Salaru, pays an official visit to Ukraine within August 23-24, 2016, at the invitation of his Ukrainian counterpart, Stepan Poltorak.

According to Head of the Defense Policy and Planning Directorate, Col. Alexandru Harea, on August 23, the Moldovan Defense Minister met with rector of National Defense University “Ivan Cerneahovskii”, Colonel General Ghenadie Vorobiov, and familiarized with the activity of the institution’s Center for peacekeeping operations.

On Wednesday, August 24, the Moldovan Defense Minister will attend the military parade in kiev to mark Ukraine’s Independence Day, as well as other events held on this occasion.
