Honor Guard Service Members to March at Military Parade in Bucharest

CHISINAU, November 25, 2016 — A National Army contingent will participate in the Military Parade in Bucharest, on Romania’s National Day, marked December 1, 2016.

The Moldovan platoon consisting of 31 officers and NCOs of the Honor Guard Company will march in the Triumph Arch Square from Bucharest, together with contingents from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Italy, Germany, Poland, Romania, the Republic of Moldova, Spain, and the United States of America.

The National Army service members will be commanded by Lt. Vitalie Josan, while the State Flag will be carried in the Triumph Arch Square from Bucharest by SFC Tudor Minciuna.

The Republic of Moldova has been participating in the military parade in Romania since 2014.
