National Army Peacekeepers at the Parade in KievCHISINAU, August 21, 2017 — A National Army contingent will participate in the Parade in Kiev, organized on the occasion of Ukraine’s Independence Day, on August 24, 2017. The Moldovan platoon consisting of 29 officers and NCOs from the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion will march on Khreshchatyk Boulevard in Kiev, alongside service members from nine countries. The National Army service members’ formation will be commanded by Maj. Ianac Deli, Commander of the 22nd Battalion, while the State Flag will be borne by Sgt. Igor Cricicovschi. The Republic of Moldova is participating in the military parade in Ukraine for the first time. |
