Shooting Drills in Cahul Garrison (video)

CHISINAU, February 2, 2018 — The service members of “Dacia” Brigade from Cahul are conducting shooting drills using the unit’s infantry and artillery weapons during January 31-February 2, 2018.

According to Brigade’s Commander, LTC Sergiu Cirimpei, the actions are part of the tactical exercises with land troops and involve artillery, infantry, research and logistical support subunits.

The source specified that about 150 service members and conscripts are participating in the exercise which is conducted during day and night time using MT-12 artillery systems, D-20 mortars, BM-37 bomb-launchers and National Army’s infantry weapons.

The shooting drills are carried out in compliance with the Combat readiness plan for 2018.

Last week, similar actions had been conducted in “Moldova” Brigade from Balti.
