Service Members of 22nd Battalion Conduct Shooting Drills in BulboacaCHISINAU, February 7, 2018 — The service members of the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion conducted shooting drills at the National Army Military training base from Bulboaca. According to Battalion’s Commander, Maj. Ianac Deli, 35 officers and NCOs of the unit’s Mortar Battery participated in the practical exercises conducting shooting drills using BM-37 mortar of 82 mm caliber. The source specified that the service members involved in the exercise will participate in the multinational exercise “Platinum Eagle” at Babadag Training area, Romania, in February this year. The shooting drills are carried out in compliance with the Combat readiness plan for 2018. Previously, shooting drills had been conducted in “Moldova” Brigade from Balti and “Dacia” Brigade from Cahul.
