Training on Institutional Integrity Organized at Ministry of Defense

CHISINAU, April 26, 2018 — The General Inspection Directorate (GID) of the Ministry of Defense, in cooperation with the National Anticorruption Center (NAC), organized a training session on the assessment of institutional integrity for the military staff of the Ministry of Defense and the National Army General Staff.

According to chief of the General Inspection Directorate, Col. Victor Pirtina, the activity’s objective was to inform and consolidate the knowledge of the institutions’ senior and junior civil servants about the stages of institutional assessment, the rights and obligations of the public entity and public agents under evaluation, the actual testing of professional integrity, as well as the consequences of the institutional and professional integrity assessment.

The source specified that the session was attended by 80 service members and was held in the context of the implementation of the Plan for Professional Development of service members from the military central governing bodies for 2018.
