The Future Students of “Alexandru cel Bun” Academy Initiated into the Military Discipline

CHISINAU, August 9, 2018 — The young people who were accepted to the Military Academy of Armed Forces “Alexandru cel Bun” (MAAF) are attending the military integration course at the institution’s HQ, within July 23-August 24, 2018.

According to deputy Commander of the Training Battalion of MAAF, Capt. Alexandru Tanasiev, during this period, the 53 young people — male and female — are studying general tactics, shooting techniques, military regulations, square bashing, engineer training, and military-medical training.

The source specified that the training aims to familiarize the students with the military discipline and to assess the moral-psychological abilities of adjustment to the requirements of a military environment.

Capt. Tanasiev added that, at the end, the future students will conduct shooting drills using AKM rifles, from a distance of 100 m, at the National Army Military training base from Bulboaca.

After the integration course, the young people will take the Military Oath.
