Minister of Defense, Official Visit to Belgium

CHISINAU, February 4, 2019 — Minister of Defense Eugen Sturza is paying an official visit to Brussels, Belgium, during February 3-5, 2019.

While in Belgium, the Defense Minister will meet with Gen. Curtis M. Scaparrotti, Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) and Maj. Gen. Odd Egil Pedersen, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Military Partnerships Directorate of SHAPE at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE).

Eugen Sturza will also pay a visit to NATO Headquarters, where he will meet with Deputy Chairman of North Atlantic Treaty Organization Military Committee, Lt. Gen. Steven M. Sherpo, and Permanent Representative of the United States to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Ambassador Kay Bailey Hutchison.
