Force Structures’ Representatives Study Operational Planning

CHISINAU, April 23, 2019 — A group of National Army service members and representatives of the General Inspectorate of Carabineers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are attending a Training workshop on the operations’ comprehensive planning process that is conducted at the Ministry of Defense during April 23-25, 2019.

The activity’s objective is to familiarize the soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Moldova with the operational planning in compliance with Western standards.

Within theoretical sessions, the 39 officers are studying the best international methods and practices of operational planning at multinational general staff level and are trained by a mobile team from Allied Joint Force Command Naples consisting of French and German service members.

The Training workshop on the operations’ comprehensive planning process is held for the second year in a row in accordance with the Foreign Activity Plan of the Ministry of Defense and National Army for 2019.
