The perspective of cooperation in the field of military topography, analyzed by the representatives of the Republic of Moldova and the Czech Republic

CHISINAU, October 3, 2019 - The Representatives of the Geographical Service of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces and the Office of Military Geography and Meteorology are in Chisinau on October 2-3 to familiarize themselves with the structure, capabilities and the capabilities of the Base topographic military of the National Army.

The aim of the visit is to initiate collaboration between the structures of the Military Geoinformational Service subordinated to the General Staff of the National Army and the Military Geographic Service of the Army of the Czech Republic in the field of military geography and topography, as well as to establish within national and international projects.

The team of geographers, accompanied by Zdeněk Krejčí, Czech Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, had a meeting with Secretary of State Vladimir Iliev during which the perspective of bilateral cooperation in the field of military topography was addressed, by initiating joint projects aimed at exchanging information and experience, field training and other activities beneficial to the two armies.
