Start admission for the US Air Force Academy

CHISINAU, October 10, 2019 - Citizens of the Republic of Moldova are invited to participate in the competition for admission to the US Air Force Military Academy for 2020. Files can be submitted to the Personnel and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the National Army until dated October 25, 2019.

According to Lieutenant-Colonel Roman Golan from the DPM, men and women aged between 17 and 23 (under the age of 1 July 2020), high school and university graduates can participate in the admission competition.

The quoted source added that the knowledge of English is a mandatory condition, the candidates will take the ALCPT / TOEFL Test and the School Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT).

At the same time, candidates will take physical training tests. The test, which will be conducted by the Ministry of Defense, in conjunction with the US Embassy in Chisinau, will include throwing the basketball, traction at the fixed bar, shuttle running, lifting the torso, pushups, running 1 mile (1.60 km).

The duration of studies at the US Air Force Academy is four years, and tuition fees are fully covered by the US Government.
