Distinctions of the National Army for the officers of the State Protection and Guard Service

CHISINAU, October 30, 2019 – Minister of Defense Pavel Voicu today decorated a group of officers from the State Protection and Guard Service with the medals "For Cooperation" and "Strengthening the Brotherhood of Arms" of the National Army.

The awards were presented for the considerable effort in promoting inter-institutional cooperation and collaboration, as well as in appreciation of the support provided during the official visits of foreign delegations to the Ministry of Defense.

Pavel Voicu highlighted the importance of cooperation between the Ministry of Defense and the SPPS in high-level events, specifying that thus the officers of the two institutions, through a joint effort, contribute to the successful accomplishment of the missions established by the higher echelon.

In his turn, the deputy director of SPPS, Petru Corduneanu, appreciated the interoperability and the professionalism of the officers of the two institutions within different official activities and expressed his hope that this collaboration will continue on an upward trend.
