Bilateral meeting held at the Ministry of Defense

CHISINAU, December 4, 2019 – The Minister of Defense Victor Gaiciuc had a meeting today with the Lithuanian ambassador in our country, Kęstutis Kudzmanas.

The two officials reviewed the bilateral cooperation on the defense dimension and the support provided by the Government of Lithuania for the reform of the National Army, especially in the field of training and elaboration of strategic documents, as well as in the transformation of the defense institution.

Minister Gaiciuc and Ambassador Kudzmanas also discussed collaboration with external partners in international organizations. In this regard, Victor Gaiciuc mentioned that the Ministry of Defense will continue to implement the programs and projects previously initiated, respecting the status of neutrality and relations based on a balanced foreign policy.

In turn, Kęstutis Kudzmanas said that his country is interested in cooperation on the dimension of defense and will support the National Army in areas requested by our country.
