Military and police continue to monitor compliance with authorities` measures to prevent COVID-19 (video)



 

Chisinau, March 25, 2020 - The military of the National Army continue the actions to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus and to maintain public order in support of the National Police during the state of emergency.

Thus, 20 units of military equipment from the National Army, together with police and carabineers, left this morning to several localities in the country, but also through the capital, to patrol and monitor compliance with measures imposed by authorities and to inform citizens about the risks of spreading and contracting COVID-19 virus.

The joint groups of employees of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior also ensure the observance by the citizens of the quarantine and isolation regime at home during the state of emergency.
At the same time, the military and carabineers monitor the situation in stations and public transport units on the territory of Chisinau and Balti.

Also, the joint crews travel through the localities of Cahul, Hincesti, Singerei and Balti.

It should be mentioned that at the same time, the IVECO and Chevrolet minibuses of the National Army and the ambulances of the Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense transported these days 58 medical staff and 22 people, who initially showed signs of COVID-19 infection, but the tests turned out to be negative.

In the upcoming days, these actions will continue, and citizens are advised to find out about all the measures organized and to comply with the new restrictions that come into force today.
