“Moldova” Brigade was Inspected by the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the National Army (video)

Chisinau, April 3, 2020- The Minister of Defense Alexandru Pinzari, accompanied by the Commander of the National Army, Brigadier General Igor Gorgan, inspected the Military Camp 142, in order to document the activity of the personnel, the training process, the infrastructure and the military technique, as well as the degree of observance of the protection measures against COVID-19 undertaken by the management department of the units.

Thus, the barracks, the canteen, the recently renovated sports complex, the stadium under construction and the cultural-educational center was inspected.

The Minister Pinzari appreciated the contribution of the staff to maintaining the technique in working order and expressed his conviction that all the military are ready to support the authorities in the areas where the intervention of the army will be necessary during a pandemic.

Also, the officials visited the car park and got acquainted with the condition of the technical units from the endowment of the units deployed in the Camp.

During the visit, increased attention was paid to the actions taken by the commanders of the units for the protection of subordinate personnel in the context of COVID.

"I talked to some soldiers on term about the training process and how they comply with the rules of hygiene and health in the context of COVID-19. I ordered the leadership of the Brigade to respect the quarantine rules, the prohibition of diaspora on the territory, the provision of food on time and the observance of all the conditions related to the personal hygiene of the military ", mentioned Minister Pînzari.

While in Balti, Alexandru Pinzari and General Gorgan also visited the Military Hospital to find out about the treatment and accommodation conditions of the patients.
