Reconditioned military equipment from the "Stefan cel Mare" Brigade, verified by the leadership of the National Army (video)

CHISINAU, June 13, 2020 - The Minister of Defense, Alexandru Pinzari, and the commander of the National Army, Brigadier General Igor Gorgan, inspected, in a front magazine, the reconditioned military equipment from the endowment of the motorized infantry brigade "Stefan cel Mare".

Officials checked the technical condition of the seven MT-12 vehicles and cannons in the anti-tank artillery subunit, which was recently repaired in the unit`s fleet.

At the same time, the army leadership assessed the capabilities and practical skills of the military equipment management staff.

The Minister of Defense was satisfied with the repair works carried out by the specialists from the "Stefan cel Mare" brigade, appreciating the promptness and mastery with which they fulfilled their mission established by the leadership of the National Army.

"I carefully watched the movement of the technical units from the car park to the place of deployment and I was impressed by their functionality. Emerging from the austere budget of the institution and the obsolete state of the military patrimony we have, the mechanics and technicians of the National Army managed in a short time to complete the work ", concluded Alexandru Pînzari.

At the end, Alexandru Pinzari and Brigadier General Igor Gorgan decorated the staff participating in the restoration of the technique with distinctions and diplomas.

The inspection and reconditioning of military equipment is part of the activity plan of the National Army for 2020.
