Reconditioned military equipment inspected in Camp 142 (video)

CHISINAU, June 19, 2020 - The Minister of Defense Alexandru Pinzari and the commander of the National Army, Brigadier General Igor Gorgan, today inspected the repaired military equipment, from the endowment of the units deployed in the Military Camp 142.

Initially, officials reviewed the more than 20 transport units and armored vehicles, as well as vehicles belonging to the Guard Battalion, the "Fulger" Special Purpose Battalion, the 22nd Peacekeeping Battalion and the Transmissions Battalion. At the same time, the repair shops of the equipment, the fuel tankers, the kitchens and the field bathrooms were checked, which were restored by the specialists from the Camp.

Subsequently, Minister Alexandru Pinzari and Brigadier General Igor Gorgan followed a march of the reconditioned technique, which traveled on the route Pietrarilor Street - Hincesti Road - Pietrarilor Street, to assess its condition, but also to check the level of training of the military to lead the technical units provided.

The Minister of Defense appreciated the quality of the repair works and the professionalism of the personnel responsible for restoring the technique.

"The military has made considerable efforts to fulfill its mission, and the fact that the technical units are functional today is entirely their merit. Thank you for the conscientious attitude you showed and for the considerable effort made to restore the military heritage, so necessary in carrying out training activities, public events, and ensuring the number of participants in exercises and missions, "said Alexandru Pinzari.

In the end, a group of soldiers involved in repairing the equipment received National Army distinctions and diplomas.

The inspection and reconditioning of military equipment is part of the activity plan of the National Army for 2020.
