The soldiers of the National Army participated in the parade in Moscow



CHISINAU, June 24, 2020 - The soldiers of the National Army marched today on the Red Square in Moscow, at the military parade organized on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Victory Day. The event was attended by the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Igor Dodon, and the commander of the National Army, Brigadier General Igor Gorgan.

The Moldovan contingent, consisting of 75 officers, sergeants and soldiers from the Guard of Honor Company, was led by Captain Vitalie Josan.

The military parade in the Red Square was attended by more than 13,000 soldiers from the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the People`s Republic of China, Mongolia, Serbia, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan.

 

It is worth mentioning that the last time, the soldiers from the Honor Guard Company paraded at the parade in Moscow in May 2010.
