The Minister of Defense and the commander of the National Army paid a working visit to the "Stefan cel Mare" Brigade

CHISINAU, November 4, 2020 - The Minister of Defense Alexandru Pinzari and the commander of the National Army, Brigadier General Igor Gorgan, paid a working visit to the "Stefan cel Mare" Motorized Infantry Brigade.

While in the unit, the officials visited the car park, where they inspected the recently reconditioned military equipment type BMD-1P, BTR - D and BMP from the 21st Mechanized Infantry Battalion and checked how the virus prevention measures are observed COVID-19.

Alexandru Pinzari appreciated the dexterity of the technical staff and the drivers, thanking them for their professionalism and dedication. "During this time when we are facing a global pandemic, I am glad that our military continues to fulfill its missions just as well. Today, after inspecting the reconditioned technical units of the brigade's technicians and mechanics, I was convinced that they make every effort so that the military equipment works and can be used for training and exercises on polygons ", said Alexandru Pinzari.

The inspection and reconditioning of military equipment is part of the activity plan of the National Army for 2020.
