Members of the Military College, met in a session at the end of the yearCHISINAU December 17, 2020 - The balance of the activity of the National Army for the training year 2020 and the main tasks for 2021 were discussed at the Meeting of the Military College, held today at the Ministry of Defense. The agenda of the meeting also included topics regarding the provision of housing for the military by contract of the National Army, the need to establish the main directions of effort for managing the epidemiological situation related to the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in the army, but also ensuring ongoing training for support need, to the civil authorities with the forces and means established in this context. The Minister of Defense Victor Gaiciuc, who chaired the Military College, mentioned that the topics addressed during the meeting are important for ensuring the efficient development of the National Army, as well as the social protection of the military. "The results obtained by the military institution this year, which was not an easy one, showed that the army staff effectively fulfilled its established missions. I am sure that in the coming year, through joint efforts, dedication and professionalism, we will be able to achieve the assumed objectives and, respectively, to fulfill our constitutional mission to defend the Homeland", said Victor Gaiciuc. In the end, for special merits in the activity, a group of the military was decorated with distinctions of the National Army, and several units received certificates of appreciation. |
