The graduates of the "Special Forces" qualification course received the "Green Beret"



CHISINAU, May 12, 2021 - Acting Minister of Defense Victor Gaiciuc, Commander of the National Army, Brigadier General Igor Gorgan, as well as Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the National Army, Brigadier General Mihail Buclis handed "Special Forces" and the badge of the graduates of the course "Special Forces" qualification.

Minister Gaiciuc congratulated the graduates, declaring that he was satisfied with their results and urged them to continuous improvement. "We all know that the pandemic situation in the country has put many obstacles in our way of carrying out the planned activities. However, you have managed to move forward with confidence, and today you can be proud of your successes. I would like to thank all those involved in organizing this course, but also you, dear military, because you did not give up and continued to fight for the " green beret", said Victor Gaiciuc.

According to SFB Commander, LTC Ion Ojog, the "Special Forces" qualification course lasted 10 weeks and consisted of four modules. The military was trained in the tactics of small subunits, military topography, physical training, planning processes.

The source specified that the course program also included the execution of a series of complex exercises, specific to special forces missions, such as alpine training, crossing watercourses, survival and medical-military training. The "Special Forces" qualification course has been running in the National Army since 2011.
