About 1,500 soldiers and civilian employees of the National Army, immunized against COVID-19 (video)



CHISINAU, May 12, 2021 - The vaccination process against COVID-19 continues in the National Army. To date, about 1,500 contract-based military service and civilian employees have been immunized against the new coronavirus. Among them is the acting Minister of Defense Victor Gaiciuc, who was vaccinated today, at the Diagnostic-Consultative Center.

According to the head of the Military Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Victor Pirtina, out of the total number of people vaccinated in the National Army, 306 have already received the second dose of vaccine.

The source specified that the types of vaccine AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Sputnik V, transmitted to the medical institutions of the Ministry of Defense by the National Agency for Public Health through the Public Health and Food Safety Directorate, were used to immunize National Army Staff.

It should be noted that the immunization process started in the National Army in March this year, with the vaccination of the personnel from the medical institutions and subdivisions of the defense structure.
