The Military Academy "Alexandru cel Bun" celebrated 29 years of activity



CHISINAU, October 1, 2021 —The Military Academy of the Armed Forces "Alexander the Good" (AMFA) celebrated today, 29 years since the founding of the institution. On this occasion, a group of soldiers and teachers received distinctions from the National Army.

Present at the ceremony, Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii congratulated the staff and students of the institution on the occasion of the anniversary, noting that over time the Military Academy "Alexandru cel bun" has trained thousands of highly qualified specialists for the country`s security and defense system. "This performance was not easy - there is a lot of effort, perseverance and work behind it. I would like to thank all those who formed the basis of the institution, the institution`s management, the teaching staff, as well as the military personnel, involved in the training process of the future officers".

Also, in the context of the World Teacher`s Day, marked every year on October 5, Minister Nosatii sent a congratulatory message to all teachers. "You have all my respect for the dedication, patience and hard work of training young officers. Thank you because despite the pandemic, you managed to carry out your activity at the same level, and the military students were able to continue their classes in accordance with the curricula ", said Anatolie Nosatii.

AMFA trains officers in the specialties: infantry, artillery, communications and informatics.The duration of studies in AMFA is three years, and the students are at the full maintenance of the state: accommodation, food and military equipment are free.
