Anti-Corruption Training Sessions, in the units of the National Army



CHISINAU, October 8, 2021 - The Military Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense, together with representatives of the National Anticorruption Center, carried out, during September-October, information and training activities on preventing corruption and strengthening integrity in the defense institution, in the units of the National Army.

According to the head of the Military Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Victor Pirtina, the program of the training session included topics such as: testing professional integrity, procedures for reporting acts and manifestations of corruption, inappropriate influences, conflicts of interest, legal status of gifts and how to submission of integrity warnings.

The source specified that the activities took place in the garrisons of Balti, Chisinau, Cahul and Ungheni, in total being trained over 400 military and civilian employees.

The meetings were organized in compliance with all restrictions imposed on the protection of health and the prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It should be mentioned that the training of the military and civilians in the field of anti-corruption will continue in other units until the end of this year.
