Soldiers from Chisinau Garrison Take Military Oath (video)
CHISINAU, November 12, 2021 — About 440 young men from the Chisinau garrison took the Military Oath today.
Present at the ceremony of the "Stefan cel Mare" Brigade, the Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii, congratulated the soldiers who took the Oath, mentioning that from today a new important stage in life begins for them.
"I am convinced that your parents are proud of your results, because in the few weeks since enlisting in the military units you have worked hard to know the regulations and learn front and fire training," said Minister Nosatii.
At the same time, the Minister of Defense urged the young soldiers to learn the military art responsibly in training centers and classrooms, and to take knowledge from the commanders of the unit, who have mastered the profession of weapons in national and international exercises, as well as in peacekeeping missions.
It should be mentioned that also today, the Military Oath was taken in the Anti-Air Missile Regiment "Dimitrie Cantemir" and the National Army Military training base in the presence of Colonel Eduard Ohladciuc, commander of the National Army and Colonel Gheorghe Silnic.
The mandatory military service lasts 12 months.
