On the eve of winter holidays, the soldiers of the National Army donate blood and plasma

CHISINAU, December 22, 2021 - The military and civilian employees of the National Army from the Chisinau, Balti and Cahul garrisons voluntarily donate blood and plasma between December 22-24. The action is organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense, together with the National Blood Transfusion Center, in order to fill the state reserve and the needs of the military institution.

Thus, today, the Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatii, together with the military and civilian staff of the General Staff Regiment "Nicolae Petrica" and the Motorized Infantry Brigade "Stefan cel Mare" donated blood to the collection center set up in Military Camp 142 in the capital.

"Through this action, we wanted to bring a little hope in the homes of those who need our support on the eve of the winter holidays. I am glad that the military was quite receptive and responded to the call to donate blood and plasma voluntarily. It is gratifying that the staff of the National Army donates blood whenever such actions are organized", said the Minister of Defense.

In the coming days, collection centers will be set up in the units of the Cahul and Balti garrisons.

In total, about 300 soldiers and civilian employees from National Army units and Ministry of Defense institutions are expected to donate blood as part of the action.
