Moldovan-Romanian meeting at the Ministry of Defense
CHISINAU, January 28, 2022 - The Commander of the National Army, Colonel Eduard Ohladciuc, met today with the Romanian Defense Attaché in our country, Colonel Cristi Ladaniuc, and his deputy, Captain Alexandru Panturu.
The talks included topics on bilateral military cooperation between the defense structures for the year 2022, training of Moldovan servicemen in the specialized educational institutions and specialized courses held in Romania, identification of assistance solutions for the development of the National Army’s sergeants corps, as well as joint participation of Moldovan and Romanian servicemen in exercises both in the country and abroad.
During the meeting, Colonel Ohladciuc mentioned the current state of implementation of the defense programs and strategic documents, carried out with the support of foreign partners, as well as the institution’s objectives for 2022. At the same time, the commander of the National Army thanked Romanian colleagues for the donations of medicines and health protection materials to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in the National Army.
For his part, Colonel Cristi Ladaniuc reiterated his willingness to continue to support the defense institution in carrying out projects and programs aimed at modernizing the National Army and developing military education.
